Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Prof. Humayun Akhter Mughalaged 54, graduated in Electronics from Liverpool University. He originally worked as a research engineer for ITT Components Group Limited. Driven by a passion for alternative clean energy solutions, Professor Mughal founded Silicon CPV plc with the goal of designing and manufacturing solar power plants and products, primarily based on Concentrated Photovoltaic (CPV) technologies. Prof. Humayun Mughal, is chairman and chief executive of Ultima Networks plc, and through Ultima Networks plc will be supplying Silicon's CPV solar power technology and expertise, primarily focussing on solar parks, to future projects across Europe.

Mr P.J. Barron, aged 66, has extensive operations experience in the electronics industry, notably with Texas Instruments Inc in the USA and with Systime Computers Limited and Chase Advanced Technologies Limited in the UK. He was appointed in May 1992 and is Chairman of the remuneration and audit committees.
Finance Director Mr A.P Klein, aged 55, has extensive experience advising companies on a wide range of services, with particular expertise in taxation, audits, and financial planning. He became a partner in Martin Chen & Company in 1978, which was subsequently renamed as Gross Klein & Company. Since that time, he has helped the business grow to the successful practice now known as Gross Klein Wood which advises organisations on all aspects of taxation, accounting, planning, audits, start-ups and transactions.
